Note. When the chart states no tick size, the original infers one from the median bar range of the whole chart, later bars included, which a study computed bar by bar cannot see; this version then uses a tick of 0.01, so its tick-based zone widths, pool tolerances, stop buffer and stop caps differ on such a chart.

Futures Setups records supply and demand zones on the chart timeframe and on 5, 15, 30, 60 and 240 minute bars that it builds from the chart's own bars, counted from the 18:00 session open in the session timezone. A zone is a Fair Value Gap (a three-bar gap between the first bar and the third) or an Order Block (the last opposite-colour bar before a displacement bar that closes through the recent high or low). A higher-timeframe zone is only read from closed bars, so it appears when its bar has finished. When price closes through a zone, the gap becomes an Inversion FVG and the block a Breaker Block facing the other way, each with a shorter life of its own.

Every open zone is scored out of 100 on each bar across six categories: zone authority (its timeframe, type and width, up to 30), multi-timeframe overlap with other open zones on the same side (up to 25), structure (a recent break of structure or market structure shift and a recent displacement bar, up to 20), liquidity (recent sweeps of liquidity pools, the previous day, the previous week, the overnight range and the opening range, and pools or levels near the zone, up to 15), market context (VWAP, the weighted regime, z-score, RSI and relative volume, up to 10) and session behaviour (a power-of-three sweep or an opening-range break, up to 4).

When a zone is touched in the signal window and passes every gate (score, number of categories, structure, displacement, touch count, cooldown, stop size and room to the nearest objective), the study opens a trade plan at the close: a stop a few ticks beyond the zone and targets at 1R, 1.5R and 2R. The plan finishes at its stop, at 2R or when its time runs out. A regime panel scores the trend of every timeframe from -100 to 100 using its averages, VWAP, RSI, momentum and volume.

How to read Futures Setups

Start with the regime panel in the bottom-right corner. Each timeframe reads STRONG BULL, BULLISH, BALANCED, BEARISH or STRONG BEAR with its score, and setups that agree with the higher timeframes score more. ENGINE reads READY when the setup engine is running; it only runs on NQ, MNQ, ES and MES one-minute charts unless the two switches in Quick Start are on, and otherwise the panel is all the study shows.

A trade plan is drawn as a BUY or SELL plate with its score at the entry, the zone it came from, a red risk box down to the STOP line and green boxes to the 1R, 1.5R and 2R lines. When the plan finishes, a label shows how: STOP -1R, TARGET +2R or a TIME exit. The score is a checklist of conditions, not a probability, and a plan that reaches 1R and then times out is not a loss or a win in itself. Read it on real, latest market data, and treat the plans as candidates to review rather than orders.

Settings

Enable indicator
Master switch for zone registration. Off, no zones are recorded, so no zone is scored and no trade plan is drawn; the regime panel still updates.
Allow symbols other than NQ/ES
The engine runs only when the symbol's leading letters are NQ, MNQ, ES or MES (or the chart names no symbol) unless this is on. Turn it on to run the setup engine on any other instrument.
Allow chart timeframes above 1 minute
The engine only runs on a one-minute chart unless this is on. On, it also runs on charts of two to five minutes.
Session timezone
The timezone every session window, the 18:00 trading-day boundary and the 09:30 opening range are read in. It must be a full zone name such as America/New_York; a name the chart does not recognise stops the study.
Futures session
The futures trading session, written HHMM-HHMM with an optional list of days (1 is Sunday, 7 is Saturday). The session VWAP and the same-time volume slots run inside it.
Overnight session
The overnight window whose high and low become reference levels for sweeps and objectives.
Regular trading hours
Regular trading hours. Its first bar resets the RTH VWAP and starts the opening range.
Signal window
Trade plans are only opened inside this window. Widen it to allow overnight or evening signals.
Maximum active trades
The most trade plans that can be open at the same time. A new plan waits until one of them finishes.
Show past trades
Keep finished trade plans on the chart for the retention hours below instead of the short default retention.
Past-trade retention hours
How long a finished trade plan stays on the chart when past trades are shown.
Default completed-trade retention

4H fallback maximum life
How many minutes a 4-hour zone stays open when it is not held to the session close.
Zone lifetime mode
Fixed by timeframe gives every zone its full life. Shorten weaker zones cuts the life to three quarters below the full-life score and to half below the three-quarter-life score.
IFVG / BB lifetime (% of source zone)
The life of an Inversion FVG or a Breaker Block, as a percentage of the life its source zone had, counted from the bar that flipped it.

Three-quarter-life score
In the shortening mode, a zone scoring at least this keeps three quarters of its life. A new zone's first expiry also assumes at least this score.
Fair Value Gaps
Record Fair Value Gaps: a three-bar gap between the first bar's high and the third bar's low, or the reverse.
Inversion FVGs
When price closes through a Fair Value Gap, record the same range as an Inversion FVG facing the other way.
Order Blocks
Record Order Blocks: the last opposite-colour bar before a displacement bar that closes beyond the recent high or low.
Breaker Blocks
When price closes through an Order Block, record the same range as a Breaker Block facing the other way.
Minimum zone width (ticks)
A zone narrower than this many price ticks is ignored. The tick is the instrument's tick size; when the chart states none, a tick of 0.01 is used.
Minimum zone size / source ATR
A zone narrower than this fraction of its source timeframe's ATR is ignored.
Maximum zone size / source ATR
A zone wider than this multiple of its source timeframe's ATR is ignored.
HTF displacement body / ATR
The body a bar needs, as a multiple of ATR, to count as displacement when finding Order Blocks.
HTF displacement body fraction
The share of the bar's range its body must fill to count as displacement when finding Order Blocks.

How many bars back the high or low is taken from when testing whether a displacement bar broke structure.
Pivot left
Bars to the left a swing high or low must stand beyond.
Pivot right
Bars to the right a swing high or low must stand beyond, which is also how many bars late a swing is confirmed.
Immediate structure-event bars
A break of structure counts as recent for this many bars after it.
Same-leg structure validity minutes
A break of structure also counts as recent for this many minutes after it.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the chart only show the regime panel?

The setup engine runs only on NQ, MNQ, ES and MES symbols on a one-minute chart by default. Turn on "Allow symbols other than NQ/ES" for another instrument, and "Allow chart timeframes above 1 minute" for a chart of two to five minutes. Above five minutes the engine stays off and only the regime panel updates.

Why does a 4-hour zone appear long after the gap formed?

Higher-timeframe bars are built from the chart's bars and a zone is read only once its bar has closed, so a 4-hour gap is recorded on the first chart bar after its third 4-hour bar finishes. Nothing is read from a bar that is still forming.

What do the six categories add up to?

Zone authority gives up to 30 points, overlap up to 25, structure up to 20, liquidity up to 15, market context up to 10 and session behaviour up to 4, capped at 100. The default threshold needs a score of 80 spread over at least four categories.

What are the columns such as Weighted Regime and Latest Candidate Score?

They are readings the study keeps for the data window and are not drawn: the entry, stop and targets on the bar a plan opens, the weighted and chart-timeframe regime scores on every bar, and the score of the best zone price touched most recently.
